Foundations of Cortical/Cerebral Visual Impairment (CVI)

Description

This session will provide a basic understanding of cortical/cerebral visual impairment (CVI). CVI is a neurological vision impairment commonly associated with cytomegalovirus and one of the most frequent causes of visual impairment in children. The causes of CVI, how the vision impairment is diagnosed, and common visual characteristics of CVI will be discussed.
