Impact of Deafness on Infant Mental Health/ Social Emotional Issues in Early Intervetion

Description

This training will provide an overview of Infant Mental Health while discussing the impact that hearing loss has upon it, as well as Social Emotional Issues that impact families who receive Early Intervention services. The training will provide a holistic look at the emotional and psychological impact of hearing loss on the family unit while providing the trainees resources to not only engage in later self-study, but to utilize hands on sstrategies that can be used in their current work with families in EI who are impacted by hearing loss.
