The SLP in Early Intervention: Services in the Natural Environment

This four hour workshop discussed the role of the Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) in providing services to children and families within the zero to
three population. Participants were provided with practical strategies that support the use of routines- based intervention in the natural environment. Evidence to support routines based intervention, challenges to the SLP in EI and resources to facilitate this model were reviewed and discussed.
