This workshop discussed in further depth the role of the Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) in providing services to children and families within the birth to three year-old population. Topics such as behavior management in the home setting, outcome development, progress monitoring/documentation of routines-based intervention and the use of adaptive strategies that augment communication in infants and toddlers were addressed. Participants had the opportunity to review case studies and engage in practical activities to support the use of routines-based early intervention speech and language therapy.
