Understanding Children, Youth, and Adult Needs Through the Lens of Attachment

Training Series: Part 1 will provide attendants with foundational research based information on attachment formation, early brain development, and the impact of trauma across the lifespan. This training is appropriate for providers working with children of all ages and their families.

Providers will gain increased knowledge on the types of attachment (secure, insecure, disorganized), the impact of early trauma on brain development, and skills and techniques for working with children (birth+), youth, and their families using attachment based interventions. This training will assist attendants in understanding children (birth+), youth, and adults behaviors from an attachment based perspective which integrates research on brain development.
