Gross Motor Development in the First Year of Life

Description

This training gave an overview of the gross motor components of development and characteristics of each of those movements. Movement was broken down in the first year of life based on what is typical of children and what would be atypical movement patterns. Pictures and demonstrations of these movement patterns were presented in order to help Service Coordinators identify possible areas of concern so that evaluations are obtained in an appropriate and timely manner.
