Qualitative Movement Patterns by Young Children

Description

We will be exploring Prechtl's Method of Qualitative Assessment of General Movements. This looks at the reflexes and responses that are evident and observable from early fetal life through the first six months of life. Observations of these general movements help to identify possible long-term developmental and neurological conditions in young children and what therapists might see in premature infants when assessing movement.
