Description |
This learning group supports infant mental health clinicians and supervisors in their efforts to integrate infant mental health principles and practices into community-based programs.
The Infant Mental Health Learning Group provides program leaders and infant mental health clinicians with regular opportunities to network and learn about the growing field of infant mental health. With a focus on the child’s experience
within the context of the parent-child relationship, group members explore how program services - both prevention and intervention - can be shaped to reflect best practices from the field. Through discussion and case presentation, learning group members share their perspectives and experiences with their
peers. The group provides an opportunity for team members to support each other as they reflect upon their collaborative work with very young children and their families.
