Description |
Attachment is the basic foundation of human social and emotional development. Each of us holds our own unique place on the attachment continuum, as does each and every child in our care. This presentation provides a solid foundation for understanding the origins and development of healthy attachment, the factors that can disrupt or enhance attachment, implications for the child's (and family's) development over time, and starting points for helping children with attachment disruptions heal and grow.
