Children With Complex Developmental Needs

Description

This will be a unique training opportunity with Cesar Ochoa MD, one of the few Developmental/Behavioral Pediatricians in Illinois. Within early intervention, most providers at one time or another work with a family who has a child with needs that impact the child’s development more significantly. For this presentation, Dr. Ochoa will offer an overview of several medical/developmental conditions which impact a child’s long-term outcomes. He will also be available to answer general questions that will help EI professionals better understand how to plan and work with families.
