Description |
This workshop covered issues related to the complex medical needs of the infants and toddlers in early intervention. Service Coordinatos and Providers need to know what to do when they are faced with a medical emegecny on a home visit. Linkages and communication need to be established between the medical team and the early intervention team. This training also discussed the benefits of having children served in a medical home where both the child's medical needs are met and the family is well supported and informed.
