Medical Trauma in Childhood

Description

Medical trauma is defined as the child’s and family’s experience of scary, painful, and/or highly distressing medical events and their responses to them. The goal of this conference is to bring attention to the consequences of medical trauma and improve the quality of care received by children who have experienced medical trauma.
