Assessment of Children's Behaviors and Parenting Responses

Description

As we work with families of young children we often see the impact that parents' understanding of a child and ability to manage their children’s behaviors in the toddler years is a significant area of need to assess. Mike Nelson, PhD will address how clinicians assess parenting responses to their children and their impact on the child’s behavior and how the two are intertwined. He will offer observationals and interview methods that will allow for more complete information.
