iPad Innovations for Speech Language Pathologists and Special Educators

Description

This program is designed to define iPad technology, demonstrate the potential revolutionary impact of the iPad on education and speech-language pathology,and present an evidence- based practices approach for evaluating and using the iPad software applications for direct and indirect practices. Practical, hands-on practice during structured small group activities will be given with the iPad device as participants use a rubric to evaluate the effectiveness of various iPad applications. Video projection and clips will be used to demonstrate the iPad in real time across a wide variety of direct and indirect service applications.
