Description |
This training gives insight into the historical perspectives on child development and how early interventionists can utilize this information to better understand how children learn and focus their developmental strategies on the child's strengths and, in turn, enhance their interactions with families. Understanding developmental theories plays a direct role in the ideas/strategies that providers share with families to support the child's developmental outcomes and to build realationships with caregivers and the community.
