Description |
This two-hour course will present information relevant to current feeding issues in young children. It will review typical swallowing and oral development in the newborn through toddler stage of development. A discussion of State of Illinois Early Intervention philosophy regarding the provision of feeding/swallowing services will be covered.
The presentation will also contain specific information and case presentation of both organic/structural and behavioral/sensory feeding issues in children birth to three. The issues will be summarized and participants will have the opportunity to ask questions related to the material covered in the presentation.
