Developmental Pediatrician, Dr. Kimberly Twyman, of the Illinois Developmental Pediatric Technical Assistance Team at Cardinal Glennon Medical Center, will present information on understanding common infectious diseases (e.g. pink eye and ring worm), the best protection and intervention when working with children and families in home environments. Dr. Twyman’s wealth of knowledge and experience will aid in providers being better equipped in making decisions on how to best provide in-home services while keeping themselves and families safe from spreading infectious diseases. Training will include case presentations and allow for group consultation between providers and Dr. Twyman.
