Grieving Children and Helping Hands

Description Grieving children sometimes go unnoticed by caregivers and helping professionals due to filters that are sometimes barriers to understanding this phenomena. These filters are societal misinformation about the dynamic developmental needs of infants and toddlers. This workshop helps participants learn how to identify the signs and symptoms of grieving children and how this grief impacts the five developmental domains addressed in early intervention. Participants will process and develop ways to respond to grieving infants and toddlers in their specific domains of practice.
