Bilingualism and Social Development

Description Bilingualism can affect the pace of social development. This workshop will focus on the unique challenges and strategies for assuring the healthy social-emotional and academic development of the bilingual child. Mental health, school social work, medical social work and child welfare practitioners will leave the workshop with a greater understanding of the social-emotional development of bilingual children birth to three.
