Description
All bi-lingual interpreters and translators enrolling to bill Illinois Early Intervention must complete the 3-day Systems Overview for Bi-Lingual Interpreters/Translators in Illinois Early Intervention Training and pass an oral and/or written proficiency examination(s) prior to applying to enroll with the Central Billing Office. The oral and written proficiency examinations will be provided at a cost of $65 per exam to each interpreter payable in advance with a credit card at the time of scheduling. Testing will be scheduled by appointment only. Please call the Illinois EI Training Program to schedule your appointment for this date.It is recommended that you complete the 3-day System Overview for Bi-lingual Interpreters/Translators in IL Early Intervention prior to taking the language proficiency exams.
