| Description |
This course will present a wide variety of information about evaluation and treatment strategies for patients with mild to severe dysphagia. Dr. Ettema will educate on conditions and treatment of the upper airway that directly affect patients with dysphagia. Speech pathologists Fraker and Walbert will discuss in-depth treatment techniques using Pre-Chaining therapy to rehabilitate the swallow and expand the diet. Case studies will be provided from dysphagia presentation, evaluation, and treatment.
