Why Do They Do That? Understanding Young Childen's Social Emotional Progression and It's Influence on ALL Areas of Development

Description Social Emotional Development impacts EVERYTHING...No matter what your discipline, a child's social emotional development can influence the "how's" of your early intervention supports and services. Understanding an individual child's social-emotional development can provide the team with information that can be used to think about appropriate strategies for the IFSP outcomes. Typical and atypical developmental patterns will be explored as well as family factors that can impact social emotional development. Participants will walk away with relationship-based, responsive strategies that can be shared with parents, caregivers, and other team members.
