| Description |
Reflective consultation groups allow for Early Intervention service coordinators to come together in a shared, safe, confidential space. The learning relationships formed in the group offer the opportunity to be seen, held, and supported. This parallels the coordinators capacity to provide a holding space for caregivers as they nurture their children. Group members will pay particular attention to emotional responses, diverse perspectives, developmental agendas, equity, and family systems to inform their work and better serve families. The group is facilitated by an infant early childhood mental health consultant to promote self-reflection and self-care when working within relationships in Early Intervention. The group meets monthly for one hour.
