Together with Dr. Featherston we will review diagnostic criteria for ASD and what diagnoses need to be ruled out. She will discuss what assessments are conducted to reach a diagnosis and what assessments may be available to us in the future. Updates on genetic testing and research will be shared. Lastly, she will talk about assessing a parent’s readiness/understanding of their child’s diagnosis.
