Pediatric Feeding Quarterly Forum – Psychological and Behavioral Considerations in Treatment of Feeding Difficulties in Children

Internal training: This training is a collaboration between EI Providers and medical professionals from multiple locations in the central Illinois area. It includes physicians (developmental pediatrician, pulmonology, gastroenterology), therapists (speech-language pathologists), and related direct early intervention providers (dieticians) who meet to discuss relevant topics in the areas of feeding development and disorders in the infant/child populations. This includes discussing current recommended treatment principles and strategies using a multidisciplinary approach. Learning activities include reviewing current research articles, completing a case study and/or having speakers present on topics of expertise. All of the topics discussed are relevant to the birth-three population.
