Description |
The RBI is a family-centered needs assessment framework designed to capture comprehensive knowledge of family functioning and support the relationship between the interviewer and the family. Service Coordinators conduct it during intake/family assessment. The information gathered during the interview is used to inform the evaluation/assessment and to collaborate on functional, measurable goals and strategies embedded with the family's daily interactions and routines. This training is for newly hired service coordinators during the orientation phase of the role, who will expand on initial training and apply the concepts in their practice.
