| Description |
This workshop incorporates the American Academy of Pediatrics' trauma-informed care call to action for recognizing toxic stress as a significant public health threat that demands a preventive approach focused on fostering safe, stable, nurturing relationships. In this workshop, pediatric therapists will learn practical strategies to minimize toxic stress. By fostering connection and supporting healing, therapists will be empowered to create safe, stable, nurturing relationships with children and families. Creating a culture of connection among pediatric therapists has a dramatic impact both personally and professionally.
