Making ASL Visual for Infants and Toddlers

Description

Deaf and hard of hearing children utilize visual information to help understand the world around them and while communicating. This session will help providers who are working with children birth to three that are birth to three and their families to provide visual information to their children while communicating. Strategies will include ways to model expressions, parentese, core words and how and when to use fingerspelling versus iconic signs.
