Getting a Glimpse of the NICU Experience

Description

Service coordinators will be given the opportunity to tour a NICU and talk with a neonatologist about the medical assessments and common interventions that take place in their unit. Participants will participate in small groups and be given the chance to think through the impact of a NICU stay on both the baby and caregivers. We will also contemplate how to introduce early intervention in a way that feels supportive to parents after their NICU journey.
