Responsive Feeding (RF) has a direct application to feeding treatment and is often a game -changer in terms of children's participation and progress in feeding skills, mealtime engagement, and enjoyment of eating for long term success. Responsive Feeding Treatment draws upon evidence from a number of fields including: parenting psychology, pediatric nutrition, humanistic psychology, attachment theory, self-determination theory, interpersonal neurobiology, and trauma psychology. Presenters will explain the basic interrelated foundations of responsive feeding therapy and explain key findings from relevant supporting studies, with applications to feeding treatment.
