Description

Infant mental health includes the social emotional well being of infants and toddlers and their interaction with caregiver sand their environment. Social emotional well being is important for all individuals to develop so they can learn to regulate themselves for participation in every day activities. In early intervention, many children have difficulty with their regulation and this can impact an entire family unit. This topic will also discuss treatment strategies for the caregiver-child dyad.
