#7309 Therapeutic Intervention for Children with Severe Involvement … Care for medically complex diagnosed patients

Description

Designing, implementing, and measuring success of therapy sessions for children with severe involvement and/or medically complex diagnoses can be challenging. This webinar will provide you with the tools to create playful treatment sessions that are focused on a measurable functional outcome referencing current concepts of motor learning, motor control, neuroplasticity and the NDTA™ Contemporary Practice of NDT. Case studies and video analysis with guided discussion will provide an opportunity for fine tuning assessment skills, prioritizing identified impairments, developing goal attainment scale (GAS) goals, and formulating intervention strategies for improved patient performance of functional activities and activities of daily living (ADL’s). Appropriate adjuncts to traditional therapy for the child with severe involvement and/or medically complex diagnosis will be discussed.
