Pediatric Therapists will enjoy this course as it will review principles of positive behavior supports and special challenges for therapists working in pediatric settings. Strategies for implementing and documenting positive behavior supports within therapy sessions as well as the contexts of home and school will be presented.
Upon completion of this course the participant will be able to relate principles of positive behavior support and applied behavior analysis to pediatric therapy. Learn how to identify specific strategies and positive behavior supports for success within therapy interventions. The course will also provide Evaluate effectiveness and carry over of established positive behavior supports in school, at home, and in the community. Course instruction methods include lecture, demonstration, videos, case studies and question/answers.
