Description |
Few clinicians would argue that balance plays a big role in function, but many do not realize it is a key determinant for both gross and fine motor function. In fact, it is more strongly correlated with motor function and self care than range of motion or strength. This means that improving a patient’s balance has a strong chance of improving a patient’s motor function!
What is balance? This is a challenging question to answer and participants who attend this course will be able to answer this question with confidence and apply the principles of balance to their treatments for immediate results with their patients. (Intermediate Level)
