Prelinguistic and Language Milestones for Early Intervention

Description

This course will focus on assessment and treatment of early, pre-linguistic and language milestones in the 0-3 population that are the foundation for social language. The purpose of this course is to provide speech/language therapists with an overview of the development of early precursors in the 0-3 population for social language development. Participants will learn how to assess early pre-linguistic and language milestones, how to work with parents to expand these early language skills and how to structure therapy activities to support opportunities for the practice of early language milestones specifically for the 0-3 population. This course will incorporate use of observations of typical and atypical developmental milestones.

Participant must attend all three sessions, either in-person or online, in order to receive ANY IL EI credit for this course.
