Acorn Pediatric Therapy Study Group - Motor Planning in EI population

Description

Acorn Pediatric Therapy LLC founder invites all contracted OTs to attend monthly study group with an aim to improve on the following:
a) Clinical skills unique to Occupational Therapy for pediatric population including dyspraxia, sensory regulation, sensory processing and modulation and what that looks like day to day for client and family.
b) Hone in on clinical observation skills to understand client and family needs as an ongoing manner within an Early Intervention ongoing visit whether in person or via LVV.
c) Being able to create a flexible plan unique to the child and family dynamically each visit.
d) Being able to highlight unique skills OT can bring to the table to address family concerns that differ from those of a DT, social worker, PT and SLP within Early Intervention.
e) Problem solving by utilizing case discussion method.
