Constraint Induced Movement Therapy

Description

Constrained induced movement therapy (CIMT) is a therapy intervention that is evidence based for children with Cerebral palsy. It is an intervention strategy that can be combined with every day routines and participation in developmentally appropriate activities. It is often recommended to be used in combination with bimanual therapy. Evidence and activity ideas will be discussed.
