A Visit with the Developmental and Behavioral Pediatrician: Expectations for Families

Description

Service coordinators will have the opportunity to meet and build a relationship with CFC 11's new pediatric advisor, Dr. Marilyn Featherston. Dr. Featherston will talk about her role as developmental-behavioral pediatrician and how to describe her expertise to parents/caregivers. Together we will think through the significance of a medical diagnostic, what this means for caregivers and the support that is potentially needed as they learn more about their child's strengths, ways they learn and areas for growth.
