Cerebral Palsy and other diagnoses

Description

Cerebral Palsy is not always a straight forward diagnosis and can be diagnosed in a variety of ways. As a therapist, knowing the risk factors can be important to correctly refer children to the appropriate physicians for care. Genetics is being considered as playing role in CP and is currently being researched. This discussion will help inform therapists on knowledge to assist in identification of children who need a referral to physiatry or other physicians to diagnose CP as appropriate.
