Autism and Sensory Processing Disorder

Description

Recent statistics show 1 in 36 children in the United States is diagnosed with autism (Centers for Disease Control, 2023). Occupational therapy practitioners are skilled in supporting the occupational performance of autistic children in multiple settings from birth through age 3. This course combines the most recent evidence about autism and sensory processing difficulties to inform our treatment interventions and support evidence-based practice. This webinar is open to all disciplines in EI.
