Description |
This highly interactive session gives participants the background knowledge they need about wellbeing and positive psychology to understand and intentionally apply the strategies provided. They will be introduced to a variety of positive psychology interventions that have been found to improve overall well-wellbeing with opportunities to personally engage, experience, and/or practice each intervention. This will support their ability to choose and use those that resonate with his or her own wellness goals and to utilize the toolkit of interventions to coach or support parents, teachers or staff in their programs, centers, or schools. Time will also allow for participants to discuss possible facilitators and barriers to implementing the coaching process in their setting to plan for implementation.
