Coaching Essentials Part 3: Putting Knowledge into Action

Description

This workshop is the third part of a coaching series, though it is also useful as a stand alone workshop. In part 2, we addressed interviewing, listening, and getting to the core of parents concerns. We also practices "flipping the script" to support positive participation and outcomes.
In this part three workshop, we will present and practice coaching strategies which support parents in balancing their daily routines and effectively embedding therapeutic activities into their daily life. Activities will include: identifying priorities, creating predictable opportunities for intervention, seeking support, embedding strategies, identifying potential obstacles, plans to address obstacles, activities for empowerment, and using video for parent review.
This workshop is interactive in nature and will involve breakout groups in order to practice therapeutic coaching strategies.
