Reflective Practice: Engaging Families about Childhood Hearing Loss

This interactive and self-reflective webinar will help practitioners establish the foundational relationship that is needed between family and provider to create an environment that ensures the optimal growth for the family and child when there is an experience of hearing loss. A strong emphasis on self -reflection, looking at a provider’s own beliefs, and learning how to empower parents to advocate and engage in the Early Intervention process and beyond. This webinar will directly follow the Engaging Families About Childhood Hearing Loss Through Podcasting webinar. This event is only open to IDTA members who attended the webinar ! Together with our fellow DT's we will reflect on the information we learned during the webinar and discuss various ways that we can implement this new found knowledge into our daily work with families.
