Description

Autumn and Julie will give a brief description of the different types of hearing loss, degrees of loss, vision loss and what qualifies a child for services within Early Intervention. They will explain the difference between the different types of amplification and their benefits. They will share the impact of hearing loss on communication, modes of communication, and how to adapt communication for children with dual sensory loss. Discussion on what a DTH is and how and when to incorporate a DTH into your team.
