Culturally Responsive Coaching in Early Intervention

Description

This online event series is available live and recorded. This multi-date workshop presents evidence, demonstrations, and opportunities to practice implementing caregiver coaching strategies in culturally responsive ways during our birth-3 home visits. Topic experts share current research, shifting perspectives, tools, and practical strategies for immediate and effective implementation of family-centered home-visiting. Participants will identify and practice specific coaching strategies (e.g. observation, feedback, problem-solving, reflection) through video modeling practice with real home-visits. By combining current coaching research, with expert insights, and real-life demonstrations, this series advances participants’ functional coaching skills and confidence for providing culturally responsive (virtual and in-person) early intervention work with families.

In order to receive ANY "IL EI credits," (EITP) you must attend live or view (with a quiz) ALL 4 parts/8 hours of this training by 11/30/2023.
