#7341 Pediatric Therapy in the Intensive Care Unit

Description

The purpose of this course is to gain an understanding of pediatric physical and occupational therapy and identify common diagnoses, treatment strategies and outcomes in the intensive care settings, from the neonatal ICU to the trauma ICU. The focus is on increased understanding and application of terminology, equipment and tests and measures in the intensive care environments across the pediatric population. Discussion of diagnoses and therapeutic interventions to encourage early mobility and functional outcomes.
