#7315 Feeding and Nutritional Interventions for Autism

Description

The purpose of this course is to review feeding behaviors and habits of children with Autism, as well as the brain/gut relationship and nutritional implications for feeding. Participants will be instructed on how to create appropriate plans of care and intervention for feeding specifically for the ASD population, with emphasis on nutrition. The focus of this course is knowledge acquisition and application of interventions to improve feeding behaviors and nutritional consumption for optimal cognitive and behavioral functioning.
