The Hammersmith Infant Neurological Exam (HINE) is used as a neurological assessment to identify when children are at risk for Cerebral Palsy (CP). This assessment is used for children 2 months-24 months and is an assessment that is evidence based and recommended for early identification of CP. It will help with identifying these infants at risk early and improve the referral process to the needed providers.
