This workshop offers strategies to connect very young children to nature even when they are indoors. Examine ways to facilitate nature play that fosters inquiry and development of sensory processing, motor skills, and language development. Play with natural loose parts, experience simple nature-based activities, and discover natural materials that are suitable for home or classroom learning. This workshop is for early intervention providers and anyone working with infants and toddlers, and is adaptable for preschool.
