| Description |
Racial microaggressions often occur unknown to the perpetrator. This course will outline the types of racial microaggressions including micro-assaults, micro-insults and microinvalidations. Examples of how each one can happen when treating clients in the home and how it impacts them will also be discussed. Questions will be provided on how to ask about culture, family, and how culture guides daily living activities including: sleep, feeding and caregiving.
